FSU Women Return Home Sunday Against D&E

Scouting the Falcons
-Fairmont State enters Sunday's non-conference meeting with Davis & Elkins with an overall record of 5-3. FSU started the season with four-straight wins before dropped three of its last four.
-Fairmont State is 4-0 in non-conference play this season and has not lost to a non-MEC foe since losing 62-46 to Indiana (PA) on Nov. 16, 2013.
-In their last outing, the Falcons dropped an 80-74 decision at nationally-ranked West Liberty eight days ago. Amanda Ruffner recorded her sixth 20-point performance of the season against the 'Toppers, scoring 21 points.
-Ruffner is leading FSU in scoring this season and is currently sixth in the MEC, averaging 18 points per game. Ruffner is also ranked in the top 25 in NCAA Division II in both field goals made (62) and field-goal percentage (.596). Her 62 made field goals lead the Mountain East Conference.
-The Falcons are currently 14th in the countries in personal-fouls per game, averaging just 14.8 per contest.
-Out of 300 ranked teams, the Falcons are 291st in three-point field-goal percentage and 263rd in three-point field goals per game (3.6).
-FSU is averaging 70.1 points per game and are holding opponents to 65.4 points.
-Makenzie White is second on the team in scoring (14.3) and leads the team in both rebounds per game (7.1) and assists per game (3.9).

Davis & Elkins enters Sunday's contest with an overall record of 3-5 on the young season … after dropping the first five games of the season, the Senators have rallied to win three-straight … D&E and Fairmont State have not played since Jan. 26, 2013, when the Falcons defeated the Senators, 51-50 … D&E is averaging 64.6 points per game and giving up 69.4 points per outing … Stephanie Wooten is the leading scorer for the Senators, averaging 20.8 points … Wooten is also second in rebounding (4.1) and first in assists (4.3) per game for the Senators … Kali Wilburn is second on the team in scoring (8.0) and first in rebounds per game (4.6).
