SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- After dropping the opening set to Shepherd (25-22), Fairmont State women's volleyball won three-consecutive sets (25-19, 25-16, 25-14) to snap its two-game skid on Tuesday evening in Shepherdstown.

Fairmont State (16-12, 8-5 MEC) was once again led by
Mackenzie Harrison in the victory with 18 kills, nine digs, four block assists and four aces.
Kayla Smith also reached double-figures with 13 kills in the match.
Rebecca Feeney joined Harrison with four blocks on the evening. Setter
Jessica Furda was the only FSU player to reached double-figures in both assists (41) and digs (12).
Megan Clerico also chipped in nine digs in the victory.

Shepherd (8-19, 3-10 MEC) was led by Peyton Lindblad with a team-high 14 kills on the evening.

Fairmont State out-hit the Rams .260-to-.154 and held a 10-4 advantage in service aces.

The Falcons will now return home for senior night on Friday evening against Glenville State. Opening serve is set for 7 p.m. at Joe Retton Arena.
