FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State used a balanced attack and committed just eight errors in a 3-0 sweep of Glenville State (25-11, 25-16, 25-13) on Friday evening at Joe Retton Arena.
 
With the win, FSU improves to 17-12 overall and 9-5 in the Mountain East Conference. Glenville State falls to 1-28 overall and 0-14 in the league.
 
Prior to the match, FSU honored a pair of seniors (Breanna Blot, Kayla Smith) for their hard work and dedication to the program.
 
Mackenzie Harrison led the Falcons with eight kills and five block assists, finishing the match with a .444 attacking percentage. The Falcons also got seven kills apiece from Kayla Smith and Rebecca Feeney while Breanna Blot drove home six kills to go with three blocks assists. Feeney reach double-figures in blocks with 10 for the Falcons.

Fairmont State held a commanding 13-2 advantage in blocks and an 8-1 advantage in service aces.
 
The Falcons got a game-high 18 digs from Megan Clerico and Jessica Furda guided the FSU offense with 20 assists.
 
Glenville State recorded a .010 attacking percentage, tallying 27 kills and committing 26 errors. The Pioneers were led by Madison Smith with eight kills.

FSU volleyball will now prepare for a southern road trip to UVa-Wise and Concord next weekend to wrap up the 2016 regular season.
