ATHENS, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State women's volleyball team finished the 2016 regular season on a four-game winning streak after defeating Concord, 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-21) on Saturday afternoon in Athens.

Mackenzie Harrison led the Falcons in the victory with 22 kills, eight digs and two block assists, finishing the match with a .618 attacking percentage.
Rebecca Feeney also reached double-figures for the Falcons with 10 kills and two block assists, also recording a .421 attacking percentage.
Jessica Furda finished the afternoon with a team-high 40 assists and
Megan Clerico notched a team-best nine digs.

As a team, the Falcons recorded a .343 attacking percentage, finishing the match with 51 kills and just 14 errors.

With the win, the Falcons wrapped up the No. 3 seed in next weekend's Mountain East Conference Tournament and will battle Notre Dame College on Thursday afternoon at 12 noon in Wheeling. FSU and NDC split the regular season meetings with Fairmont winning 3-0 in Fairmont and Notre Dame edging FSU, 3-2, on the road. Fairmont State volleyball has advanced to the MEC Tournament finals in each of the last three seasons.
