DANIELS, W.Va. -- Fairmont State finished in a tie for 15^th place at the Glade Springs Men's Intercollegiate Championship on Monday and Tuesday afternoon in Daniels, W.Va. The event ended after two rounds of play due to rain and wet course conditions at Glade Springs on Tuesday morning.
 
Newcomer Demetrius Johnson finished with a team-low score of 155 during the two rounds of play on Monday.  Chase Voithofer (163), Craig Buchanon (164), Braden Hammond (164) and Bailey Mohr (169) rounded out Fairmont's five participants in the tournament.
 
The University of Charleston took first place at the event with an impressive 12-stroke advantage over second place Davis & Elkins (605).  Justin Westveer (UC) earned medalist honors after finishing with a two-round score of 140.
 
The Falcons will return to action on Sept. 25 with a two-day tournament at the Wally Edgell Fall Classic. The tournament will take place at Canaan Valley in Davis, W.Va.
