Student Promotion
Through the 2017-18 season, all secondary and elementary aged students will receive a free general admission ticket to Fairmont State basketball games. In addition, all parent or guardians that accompany any secondary or elementary aged children to the game will receive half-price admission when purchasing general admission tickets.

Women's Basketball Notebook
- Fairmont State will look to avenge an early season loss to Glenville State on Wednesday evening inside Joe Retton Arena.
- The Fairmont State women have won four of its last five games inside Joe Retton Arena, with the only loss coming back on Dec. 19 against nationally-ranked Edinboro.
- With Fairmont State's victory over Concord on Jan. 6, head coach Steve McDonald picked up his 400th collegiate victory as a head coach. McDonald has a 400-209 record as a collegiate head coach, including a 345-174 record as the women's basketball coach at Fairmont State. McDonald also tallied a record of 55-35 as the men's head basketball coach at West Virginia Wesleyan from 1989-92.
- Fairmont is currently on a two-game skid falling to Urbana (86-77) and Notre Dame (78-70 OT) during last week's Ohio road trip.
- Freshman guard Sierra Kotchman has led the Falcons in scoring in each of the last 11 games, and is currently third in the league and 21st in the country in points per game this season (19.9).
- Kotchman also ranks 16th in the country in three-point field goals per game (3.0), and 14th in the country in free throw percentage (91.1).
- Through 15 games this season, Kotchman has 298 points. The Fairmont State record for points by a freshman in program history is 466 by Lori Smith, who starred for the Falcons from 1988-93.
- Kotchman has also recorded 20-points or more in nine games this season - inclduing three times in the last four games.
- Sophomore transfer Brooke Kurucz is currently second on the team in scoring, averaging 14.7 points per outing. Kurucz has reached double-figures in four of the last six games and is second on the team in made three-pointers (30) and tied for first in steals (27).
- Kelli Jo Harrison is averaging nearly a double-double per night this season, at 9.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per outing. Harrison has led the team in rebounds in 13 of 15 games this season, and currently ranks 31st in NCAA Division II in defensive rebounds (7.0).

Men's Basketball Notebook
- Fairmont State and Glenville State will square off for the second time this season on Wednesday evening inside Joe Retton Arena. In the first meeting of the season at Glenville's Waco Center, the Falcons escaped with a 69-64 victory over the Pioneers.
- Fairmont State will look to continue its 30-game winning streak inside Joe Retton Arena, a streak that dates back to Feb. 4, 2016.
- Glenville State led by eight (54-46) with under 10 minutes remaining in the second half of November's meeting before the Falcons used a 15-4 scoring run to gain the momentum and the lead. The Falcons used balanced scoring in the win, getting 15 from Jason Jolly, 13 from D'Ondre Stockman and 10 from Vonte Montgomery.
- Since Fairmont dropped a road game at IUP on Dec. 19, the Falcons have won five-straight games coming into Wednesday's contest - all by double-figure margins.
- In Fairmont's last outing, the Falcons scored a season-high 107 points in a road win over Notre Dame College. In the win, the Falcons shot nearly 53 percent from the field and drained 12 three-pointers.
- In Fairmont's victory over Notre Dame, the Falcons got a team-high 27 points from Andrew Emrick and a career-high 15 points from freshman Cole VonHandorf.
- In last Thursday's win at Urbana, junior guard Jason Jolly became the 47th player in Fairmont State men's basketball history to go over 1,000 career points. Jolly is currently tied with Alfonso Davis (1987-89) for 46th in Fairmont State history in scoring with 1,008 career points. Jolly is averaging a team-high 16.4 points per game this season.
- Jolly is also currently tied for third in school history with Jamel Morris with 178 career three-pointers in his Fairmont State career. Jolly needs just 39 more three-pointers to become the school's all-time leader in the category.
- Jolly also needs just 15 more assists to crack the school's all-time top 10 list for career assists.
- In addition, senior guard D'Ondre Stockman has also moved into 10th in Fairmont State men's basketball history with 129 career three-pointers.
- Fifth-year senior Caleb Davis is also closing in on 1,000 career points, currently with 880 points. Davis has reached double-figures in nine consecutive games, including three double-double performances.
- Fairmont State currently ranks ninth in the country in turnovers per game (9.8) and are 16th in assists to turnover ratio (1.47).
