CALIFORNIA, Pa. -- On Monday afternoon, Fairmont State Women's Basketball received votes in the latest release of the D2SIDA Atlantic Regional Poll. The Fighting Falcons are back in the poll after picking up five votes in the first installment of the D2SIDA Atlantic Regional Poll.
Fairmont State earned an 80-58 win over West Virginia Wesleyan last Tuesday and started Mountain East Conference play with two victories over WVWC and Davis & Elkins.
Gannon is ranked first in the poll with five first-place votes as IUP and Glenville State round out the top three for the rankings. Concord also joins Glenville State as members from the MEC in the top-ten rankings as West Virginia State and Alderson Broaddus are also receiving votes in Monday's update.
Fairmont State Women's Basketball (3-2, 2-0 MEC) is back in action on Wednesday, December 1st when they head to the University of Charleston for a 5:30 p.m. matchup. The Falcons return to Joe Retton Arena on Saturday, December 4th for a 2:00 p.m. tip with West Virginia State.
