Concord Game Notes
- Fairmont State is coming into tonight's contest with an overall record of 5-2 and 4-0 in Mountain East Conference play. The Fighting Falcons have started the conference season with four wins in a row after a perfect 2-0 week against Charleston and West Virginia State last week. 

- The Falcons used strong play in the fourth quarter to down West Virginia State 85-77 on Saturday afternoon. Kamrin Weimer paced Fairmont State with 23 points as she had a career-high seven made three-pointers in the contest. Alyssa DeAngelo followed with 18 points as Katy Darnell chipped in 16 points and added nine assists and seven rebounds in the game.

- Head Women's Basketball Coach Stephanie Anderson enters her third season at the helm of the Fighting Falcon program and enters today with an overall record of 27-26 in her coaching career. 

- Fairmont State holds the series all-time series lead, 32-22, over Concord with the series dating back to 1981. Last time out, the Falcons earned the 90-85 overtime victory over the Mountain Lions in overtime on January 27th, 2021, at Joe Retton Arena. Sierra Kotchman had a game-high 28 points and was a perfect 10-10 from the free-throw line.

- Redshirt Senior Kotchman now owns the all-time school record in career points with 2,136 total points. Kotchman is also on pace to break the record in field goals made as she now has 735 made baskets in her Falcon career and sits in second place. Kristen Gattuso carries the record with 738 made shots in her four-year career at Fairmont State. 

- Fairmont State is fourth in points per game (78.4 ppg) in the MEC with Glenville State being in the top spot while averaging 99.7 points per game. On the defensive side, the Falcons are seventh in scoring defense (71.0 ppg) in the Mountain East Conference with tonight's opponent Concord fourth in the league with 66.9 points per game. The Mountain Lions are fifth in scoring offense (74.1 ppg) in the MEC.

The Fighting Falcons take to the road next when they head to Glenville State for a 12 p.m. contest with the Pioneers.
