FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Wrestling went 2-1 on the day hosting the Fairmont State Duals. Teams in attendance were PSAC and Regional Foe's Seton Hill and Pitt-Johnstown, MEC Rival Glenville State and Garrett Community College.

Match 1: Fairmont State 40 Garrett Community College 12 

    Fairmont State got off to a hot start winning the first 5 matches all by bonus points. 125 Brandan Myers won by tech fall 16-1, 133 Ryan Martin won by tech fall 21-4, 141 Colton Stoneking won by tech fall 19-3, 149 Caleb Everhart won by fall and 157 Kolton Parsons won by fall. After dropping the match at 165 174 Evan Thompson got them back on track winning by fall. 197 Dwayne Johnson had a solid 11-3 major decision win and 285 Ethan Babay capped off the win in dramatic fashion scoring a reversal and back points to secure the win. Up next was Seton Hill. 

Match 2: Fairmont State 33 Seton Hill 15 
    
    After dropping the first match 133 Nate Pelesky got the Falcons right back on track with a huge win by fall. 141 Colton Stoneking, 149 Trace Ragland and 157 Kolton Parsons all collected solid wins to increase the lead to 15-6. After suffering a tough defeat at 165 174 Evan Thompson and 184 Navid Ighani collected forfeits to add to the lead. 285 Ethan Babay secured another dramatic win by fall as he was losing 5-0 entering the third period. He reversed his opponent to his back and got the pin on the edge of the mat. The win capped off the dual win and it was the first dual win over PSAC Opponent in Program History. Up next was #16 UPJ. 

Match 2: Fairmont State 3 #16 UPJ 46

    Fairmont State ended the day on a loss to #16 UPJ. The lone winner was 141 Colton Stoneking as he won a wild affair 10-9 to improve his record to 3-0 on the day and 13-2 overall for the season.
