West Liberty, WV-- Wrestling competed at the Hilltopper duals going 1-2 on the day. They wrestled #13 Millersville, #22 Ohio Northern and Mount Union. 

#13 Millersville 34 Fairmont State 10

Nate Pelesky was down 6-2 but kept battling and ended up winning by fall in  the third period. Ryan Martin lost a back and forth affair 6-3 and Dwayne Johnson remained hot as he won by major decision. Next up was DIII Foe from the OAC #22 Ohio Northern. 

Fairmont State 27 #22 Ohio Northern 19 

This was a crazy dual from start to finish. Ohio Northern took the first match at 125 by major decision but Fairmont State rattled off 3 straight wins. Nate Pelesky had dominant 6-2 win and then freshmen Ryan Martin and Trace Ragland got two huge wins by fall to increase Fairmont's lead to 15-4. Ohion Northern responded with a win of their own by fall to make it 15-10. Navid Ighani got Fairmont State back on track with a gritty 4-2 win to make it 18-10. After back to back losses Ohio Northen regained the lead 19-18. Senior Dwayne Johnson and Freshmen Ethan Babay were up for the task as Johnson kept is winning streak going to make the team score 21-19 and then Ethan Babay followed that up with a dramatic win by fall to close out the team win 27-19. Next up was another DIII Foe from the OAC Mount Union. 

Mount Union 29 Fairmont State 18 

Nate Pelesky finished off his perfect day with a dominant 13-6 win. Mount Union had a 17-7 lead going into 165 but Navid Ighani and Elijah Wellings-Osha got the team back on track with two solid wins to make it 17-14. Mount Union responded with a win by fall to make it 23-14. Dwayne Johnson won by Major Decision and extended his winning streak to 11 matches. That made the team score 23-18 going into heavyweight unfortunately they came up on the losing end this time and lost by a score of 29-18.
