ST. CLAIRESVILLE, Ohio -- The Fairmont State University women's golf team took part in the West Liberty Fall Invitational on Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28 from Belmont Hills Country Club. The Falcons placed second in the event with a total of 665.
Leading the way for Fairmont State was
Marra Johnson as she finished tied for fourth with a two round total of 160 (81-79).
Emerson Simons was one-shot behind in seventh place after rounds of 79 and 82.
Mia Chambers was the next lowest Falcon with a two-day total of 168 (87-81) while
Skyler Jefairjian posted a score of 176 (90-86), earning 18th-place.
Abigail Lint rounded out the top five with rounds of 97 and 87 and finished 19th overall. Individually, Lanae Street carded a 36-hole score of 186 while
Gianna Koski finished the invitational with a score of 195.
Fairmont State will now prepare for the Mountain East Conference Tournament on Monday, October 7 through Wednesday, October 9 from Daniels, West Virginia. The Falcons along with the rest of the MEC will be playing The Resort at Glade Springs.
