DANIELS, W.Va. — Fairmont State University concluded the 2025 MEC Men's Golf Championship in third place with
Caleb Young tying for fourth individually after carding a final round 70 (-2) at The Resort at Glade Springs.
Caleb Young led the Falcons with a tie for fourth place, finishing at two-over par (218). Young improved each round, opening with back-to-back 74s (+2) before closing with a 70 (-2) in the final round. Young was named to the All-Tournament Team for his performance.
Colby Bent placed 10th, recording a final score of eight-over par (224). Bent's performance included a steady progression, starting with a 77 (+5) and improving to a final round of even-par 72.
Nik Tomblin tied for 18th with a total of 16-over par (232). Tomblin's best round came in the second with a 75 (+3), following an opening round of 80 (+8).
Ben Ritenour finished tied for 20th at 19-over par (235). Ritenour's rounds included a 78 (+6) and two rounds in the 70s, with a 77 (+5) in the final round.
Parker Conover finished 27th at 24-over par (241). Conover carded rounds of 79 (+7), 86 (+14) before improving on the final day with a 76 (+4).
