CANTON, Ohio — Fairmont State delivered a competitive showing at the 2025 Malone Invitational, highlighted by
Delaney Householder's second-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:06.23. The team's efforts were further bolstered by a strong third-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay, clocking in at 3:39.62.
Delaney Householder secured a second-place finish in the 200 Yard Backstroke. Earlier in the day in the prelims, Householder set a new program mark in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:05.19. She also anchored the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team to a third-place finish.
Maitlyn Miller placed ninth in the 100 Yard Freestyle, clocking in at 54.12. She also started the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team that took third place.
Zoe Hoover finished 12th in the 100 Yard Freestyle. She was part of the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay team that placed third.
Alicia Perez competed in the 200 Yard Breaststroke, finishing 12th with a time of 2:33.52. She also contributed to the 13th-place finish of the B team in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay.
