FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the organization's 2025 Academic All-America® teams for women's soccer. Fairmont State's
Montserrat Diaz was recognized for her academic and athletic accomplishments.
Diaz earned Third Team Academic All-America® honors after an incredible season for herself and the Falcons. She is the first Falcon in program history to be named an Academic All-American. She holds a 3.74 GPA in Graphic Design. This is her second All-American honor as she was named D2CCA All-America Second Team. Additionally, she has been named All-MEC First Team, CSC Academic All-District, D2CCA All-Atlantic Region First Team and United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region Second Team.
On the season, she led the team with 12 goals and eight assists as she racked up 32 points. She also recorded six game-winning goals which led the conference.
