FAIRMONT, W.Va. — On Tuesday morning it was announced that Kernell Borneo has accepted the head women's soccer coach position at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

"On behalf of the Athletic Department and the entire Fairmont State community, I want to thank Kernell for his leadership of our women's soccer program over the past five years," said Director of Athletics, Greg Bamberger. "With him at the helm, the program reached new heights with conference championships while also recruiting student-athletes that embody the best of college athletics on and off the field. We wish Kernell all the best in the next chapter of his life."

"Coaching at Fairmont State has been and honor and a privilege," said Borneo. "To the players, coaches, administration and all of Fairmont, thank you for these past few years. I will always cherish the time and memories made together."
