Diaz and Stalhammar Named D2CCA All-American

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Dec. 9, 2025) — The Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced its Women's Soccer All-America teams following the 2025 season. Fairmont State's Filippa Stalhammar and Montserrat Diaz were named to the D2CCA All-America Second Team.

These are the first All-American selections for the Fairmont State University Women's Soccer team. Both players were earlier named D2CCA First Team All-Atlantic Region.

Diaz, a senior midfielder, was named to the All-MEC First Team as she led the team with 12 goals and eight assists. On the season, she racked up 32 points. She also recorded six game-winning goals which led the conference.

Stalhammar, a graduate defender, was named the MEC Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-MEC. Starting all 22 matches on the backline, she helped the Falcons to be tied for the least number of goals allowed in the conference. She also added six goals and three assists on the scoring side of the pitch.
