CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State University men's golf team competed at the Mountain East Conference Spring Classic. The Falcons finished third out of the nine conference teams.
Jack Hayes paced Fairmont State as he finished fifth with rounds of 75 and 77.
Caleb Young earned seventh with a two-day total of 153 (77-76) while
Ben Ritenour placed 11th after carding a 79 and 75.
Nik Tomblin was the next Falcon to finish with rounds of 79 and 80 to place 26th.
Liam Lohr rounded out the top five with a 36-hole total of 174 (89-85). Individually,
Marc Puigdomenech carded rounds of 85 and 87 while Migule Martinez shot 177 (84-93).
Blake Hunt and
Dustin Keener were the final competitors for Fairmont with totals of 185Â and 194, respectively.
Afterwards, the MEC announced its All-Conference honorees for the 2024-25 year.
Caleb Young earned Second Team All-Conference while
Jack Hayes was named Honorable Mention.
