CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State University men's golf competed at the University of Charleston Invitational. The Falcons finished tied for 10th with a team total of 888.
Caleb Young led the way with a top 20 finish with a three-day total of 216 (+6).
Nik Tomblin and
Oscar Guazzarotto fought their way into the top 50 with 54-hole totals of 224 and 226, respectively.
Ben Ritenour carded rounds of 74, 79 and 75 while
Parker Conover posted a total score of 234 (83-73-78). Individually,
Colby Bent had a strong tournament with rounds of 73, 68 and 76.Â
The next tournament for the men's golf team is the Wally Edgell Tournament on Monday, September 15 through Tuesday, September 16 at the Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, West Virginia.
