FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State University Athletic Department has announced a travel advisory for fans planning to attend athletic events on campus the next few weeks.

With the closure of US 250, fans traveling from south of Fairmont State University will have to take Exit 136 and follow the Fairmont Gateway Connector instead of Exit 132. The closure of US 250 is from its intersection with Holbert Road to the southern intersection with Mary Lou Retton Drive near Muriale's. This will be a 24/7 closure, and officials believe it will last up to four weeks.
