BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference has announced the winners of this week's Male Tennis Player of the Week award. The MEC Player of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan.

Fairmont State's Noah Liedtke has been named the MEC Men's Tennis Player of the Week.

Liedtke, a freshman from Rottweil, Germany, went 2-0 in Saturday's 5-2 win over Uva-Wise. At number one singles, Liedtke defeated Yi-Husan Chen in straight sets, 6-4/6-4. Then at number one doubles, Liedtke and Kusunoki Haruto bested Yi-Husan Chen/ Chathurya Nilaweera (UVA-W), 6-2.
