Haruto Headlines All-MEC Honors for Men's Tennis

BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - The Mountain East Conference on Friday announced its 2026 Men's Tennis award winners and all-conference teams, following a vote of the league's head coaches.

Fairmont State's Kusunoki Haruto has been named the 2026 MEC Men's Tennis Player of the Year and First Team All-MEC. Haruto, went 14-2 this season in singles and 14-2 in doubles. He also helped the Falcons earn the No. 2 seed at the 2026 MEC Men's Tennis Championship this weekend.

Gabriel Masu joined Haruto on the All-MEC First Team. It is Masu's second-straight year being named to the First Team as he finished the season going 16-2 in singles and 16-3 in doubles play.
