th-ranked Fairmont State men's basketball team will travel to Maryland for a pivotal non-conference matchup with the Bulldogs of Bowie State on Saturday afternoon starting at 4 p.m.

GameDay Notables -This is
Jerrod Calhoun's second 4-0 start as the head coach of the Falcons, as FSU started 4-0 to begin the 2013-14 season.
-With a win on Saturday, the Falcons will start a season 5-0 for the first time since the 2007-08 campaign. Early in the 2007 season is also the last time the Falcons were ranked in the NABC Coaches Poll (#19 on 12/4/07).
-In the last meeting between the programs, Bowie State picked up a 99-96 victory at Joe Retton Arena last December, led by a career-high performance of 30 points from senior Cameron Knox. Knox is now on the Bowie State coaching staff.
-The all-time series between the programs is a deadlock at two games apiece.

Matt Bingaya is leading the Falcons in scoring this season, averaging 18.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and two assists per game. Bingaya has recorded a pair of 20-point performances.

Caleb Davis is second on the team in scoring, averaging 14.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and also has a team-best seven steals. Davis came off the bench for the Falcons against Glenville State and turned-in a 20 points and eight rebound performance in the convincing 109-93 victory at the Waco Center.

Jason Jolly (11.0) and
Jamel Morris (10.8) are also averaging double-figures for the Falcons.
-Connor has been consistent behind the arc this season, drilling 15-of-32 three-pointers.
-The Falcons have eight players averaging at least 18 minutes per game this season, seven of which are averaging at least six points per game.
-In their first four games this season, the Falcons have turned the ball over just 46 times and have recorded 67 assists. FSU is also shooting over 52 percent from the field and is averaging 95.0 points per game.

Goodman is averaging 15.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game … Justin Beck is shooting 51 percent from the field and is averaging 14.0 points and 4.8 boards per game … Miles Jackson is also averaging double-figures at 10.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game … Jackson is shooting over 56 percent from the field … Bowie State has four players averaging 4.8 rebounds or more per game ... the Bulldogs are being outrebounded by more than four per game and gave turned the ball over 75 times in five games this season.
