The Game• Fairmont State and West Liberty will tangle in the NCAA Regional Semifinals on Sunday evening at West Liberty's ASRC for the second time in three seasons. The Falcons and Hilltoppers have split the last four meetings between the programs, however, West Liberty has ended FSU's season in each of the last two seasons. (2013 - NCAA Regional Semifinals, 2014 - MEC Semifinals).
• Host West Liberty will provide live video and stats of all Atlantic Regional Tournament game via hilltoppersports.com. Travis Jones will have the live radio broadcast of the game on 93.1 WFGM and 931wfgm.com.
• Fairmont State won their sixth NCAA Tournament game since 1996 with its 68-63 victory over Mercyhurst on Saturday. The last time FSU won two NCAA Tournament games in a season was in 1998, when the Falcons advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight with victories over UPJ and Salem. (In 1998 only six teams per region made the NCAA Tournament.)
• Although the teams have split the last four meetings, FSU has not won at the ASRC since Feb. 14, 2008, an 88-79 victory under head coach Tim Murphy.
• The Falcons hold the all-time series record over West Liberty, 84-60, in a series that began back in 1925.

Jerrod Calhoun has made two conference finals appearances and NCAA regional appearances in his three seasons on the FSU bench. In his first year with the program, Calhoun advances to the regional semifinals, also held at WLU.
• With a victory in tonight's regional semifinal, Calhoun will match his 2012-13 win total of 23 victories.
• The Falcons have held their last six opponents to 65 points or less, winning five of the last six games.
Falcon Notables• The Falcons are coming off a run to the MEC Tournament finals after defeating Notre Dame College in the quarterfinal round and Wheeling Jesuit in the semifinal round.
• In the quarterfinals,
Jamel Morris drained nine threes and scored a team-high 32 points to lead the Falcons to the 71-57 victory.
• In the semifinals, FSU shot 48 percent from the floor and got 16 points apiece from Morris and
Nick Harney to pick up the 73-63 win. FSU also limited Wheeling, the second-best offense in the MEC, to 63 points and 19 field goals in the game. WJU also hit just two three-pointers in the game.
• The Falcons struggled offensively in the MEC Championships game by shooting just 39 percent from the field and 26 percent from behind the arc as GSC defeated FSU, 65-58, to win the title.
• Fairmont State is currently ranked in the top 25 in the country in free throw attempts (792), made free throw attempts (581) and steals (262)
• After struggling early in the season with turnovers, the Falcons are currently second in the league and 32nd in the country in turnover margin (3.4).
• The Falcons are third in the league in three-point field goal percent (39.0).
• The Falcons have been outshot in 20 games this season, including six of the last eight games. Conversly, FSU is 6-1 when shooting better than 50 percent from the floor and 9-2 when they have a higher field goal percentage than its opponents. FSU has also allowed its opponents to shoot better than 50 percent from the field 13 times (7-6).
• The Falcons are averaging 34 points in the paint and 19 points off turnovers this season. FSU is 20-5 when committing fewer turnovers than its opponent and 1-5 when turnovers the ball over more. In addition, FSU is 12-3 when having more assists than turnovers and 16-4 when committing fewer than 13 turnovers in a game.
• Fairmont State has come back from a double digit deficit in four games this season (at WJU, SU, at UC, UU).
• The Falcons are 12-4 on the road or at neutral sites this season.
• FSU is allowing just 70.7 points in wins this season, compared to allowing 87.1 points in losses this season.
• The Falcons have been out-rebounded 17 times this season, they are 11-6 in those games.
• Senior
Chase Morgan has 10 games with at least three, three-pointers this season. Morgan has provided 12 double-figure scoring performances off the bench and is shooting 43.5 percent from behind the arc during his senior season.
FSU NCAA Tournament History• Fairmont State is making its seventh appearance in the NCAA Tournament in school history.
• The Falcons last made the tournament in 2013. FSU lost to WLU in the regional semifinal that year, 100-77. The Hilltoppers went on to advance to the national finals.
• FSU coasted past Livingstone, 91-73, in the opening round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament.
• Prior to 2013, FSU had been eliminated by IUP in each of its last two trips to the NCAA Tournament (2000, 2010). The Crimson Hawks had eliminated the Falcons in three of its five previous NCAA Tournament appearances (1996, 2000, 2010).
• Fairmont State has won only one first-round game in the NCAA Tournament since 1999.
• The Falcons are 5-6 all-time in the NCAA Tournament.
