Through the 2016-17 season, all secondary and elementary aged students will receive a free general admission ticket to Fairmont State men's and women's basketball games. In addition, all parent or guardians that accompany any secondary or elementary aged children to the game will receive half-price admission when purchasing general admission tickets.

- Following a pair of wins over nationally-ranked top five teams, the Falcons return to non-conference play tonight to take on Davis & Elkins (3-6).
- The Falcons are off to their first 7-0 start since the 2003-04 season. That year, FSU started the year with eight-straight wins.
- Following last week's wins over No. 4 Wheeling Jesuit and No. 1 West Liberty, the Falcons have moved up to No. 4 in both national polls (NABC and D2SIDA).
- Matt Bingaya was named MEC Player of the Week after averaging 26 points and eight rebounds in last week's wins over WJU and WLU. Bingaya started the week with 28 points and five assists in the overtime win over the Cardinals, before adding 24 points and eight rebounds vs. West Liberty. Bingaya shot 59 percent from the field and made 16-of-17 free throw attempts in two games last week.
- Bingaya is leading the Falcons in scoring this season, averaging 19.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
- Thomas Wimbush is second on the team in points and first in rebounding, averaging 16.4 points 8.7 rebounds per game.
- Jason Jolly (15.1) and Vonte Montgomery (10.9) are also averaging double-figures for the Falcons through seven games this season.
- Fairmont State has dominated the all-time series with Davis Elkins (89-39). The last meeting between the program's was back in 2013, a 72-66 win in coach Jerrod Calhoun's first season on the FSU bench.
