FSU Men's Basketball Quick Hitters
- Second-ranked Fairmont State retuned from the holiday break by picking up a 103-79 victory over UVa-Wise on Tuesday evening at the Prior Center. That season, the Falcons went 28-1 and did not suffer a loss until the NAIA National Tournament against Texas Southern.
- Head coach Jerrod Calhoun is 5-2 against Concord in his four seasons at Fairmont State, including sweeping the season series a season ago. Fairmont State holds a 76-36 series lead over the Mountain Lions dating back to 1930.
