FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Fairmont State's
Courtney Webb netted a goal in the 84
th minute of Wednesday's Mountain East Conference matchup with Charleston to knot the score at a goal apiece with just six minutes remaining in regulation. The goal eventually led to the second draw of the season for the Falcons and Golden Eagles.

Webb's goal, which scored off a deflection into the left corner of the goal, is the seniors first of the season after leading the Falcons in scoring in each of the last two seasons.

With the draw, Fairmont State moves to 2-2-2 on the year. UC is now 2-2-3.

UC was the first to get on the scoreboard in the 64
th minute, when Lyndsey Thompson scored her second goal of the season off a cross from Kelci Winters.

Fairmont State held a slim 20-18 advantage in shots, including a 10-6 advantage in the second half of the game. Charleston held an advantage on the attack during the second overtime period, recording five shots. FSU held a 10-7 edge in shots on goal.

Webb recorded seven attempts in the game, including four shots on goal.
Louise Welch added four shots,
Gabriella Mascaro chipped in three and
Alexis Lindsay notched a pair of shots on the evening to lead the Falcon offense.

Fairmont State will now prepare for a noon match at Shepherd University on Sunday afternoon.
