FAIRMONT, W.Va. – Fairmont State's women's tennis team topped Seton Hill with a decisive win in its fall opener Sunday afternoon in Latrobe, Pa.
 
The Falcons won two of three doubles and five of six singles matches against the Griffins to solidify the 6-1 victory. 
 
Seniors Ainara Pastor and Isadora Matos teamed up for a win at No. 1 doubles, while juniors Candela Sevilla and Mackenzie Sorton were victorious at No. 2 doubles. Pastor, Matos, Sevilla, Sorton and senior Trang Hong Nguyen continued the strong showing for the Falcons, with each earning wins in their first singles matches of the year.
 
The Falcons return to play at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 21 at California University of Pennsylvania.
