Colton Stoneking won first place in the 141-pound bracket at the Glenville State Invite on Saturday (Nov. 4) in Glenville, W.Va. The Falcons scored 49 points as a team and tied for seventh place out of 11 teams.

After receiving a bye in the first round, Stoneking won by major decision over Niko Ferra of Seton Hill 16-3 in the second round. He defeated Jared Fulton of Kutztown in the quarterfinal round by major decision, 11-0. The George Mason transfer won by decision in the semifinal match over Ali Alicea of Kutztown, 6-5. He completed a perfect day with a win by decision over Omar Armengol of Coker in a 6-5 decision.

Dwayne Johnson claimed fourth place in the 197-pound division and won a pair of matches. Johnson won by medical forfeit over Joshua Sanders of Davis & Elkins in the quarterfinal bout. After falling in the semifinal round, Johnson pinned Devan Gauldin of Glenville State in the consolation semifinal round to get to the third-place match. Johnson lost by decision 15-9 to GSU in the third-place match.

In the 133-pound bracket,
Nate Pelesky won by major decision over Cameron Fentress of GSU 8-0. Pelesky earned a 12-8 win by decision in the quarterfinals over Kyle Burkholder of Seton Hill. After dropping the next two matches, Pelesky won by forfeit in the fifth-place match.
Ethan Babay pinned Dustin Swanson of Kutztown in the heavyweight division to start the tournament. Babay fell in the quarterfinal and consolation round.

The Fairmont State wrestling team faces Frostburg State on Wednesday (Nov. 8) on the road to open Mountain East Conference competition.
