Morgantown, WV-- Wrestling traveled right up the road to face #20 West Virginia University. They battled hard but were shutout 56-0 by the Mountaineers. They head into Christmas break with a 7-11 record, 1 Nationally Ranked Wrestler (Colton Stoneking 19th) and 3 Regionally Ranked Wrestlers (Colton Stoneking #2, Trace Ragland #6 and Dwayne Johnson #6). It's been an uphill battle for the Wrestling team first semester dealing with a lot of starters out due too injuries or sickness. They will use the Christmas Break to refocus and get healthy for the second half of the season. They turned their attention now to hosting their first tournament with a 16 team field featuring teams from the DII, DIII, NAIA and Juco levels. That tournament will take place inside the Joe Retton Arena January 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
