The Fairmont State University wrestling team faced fellow Mountain East Conference foe and ranked 21st, Glenville State University. The Falcons fell 46-6 to the Pioneers.

Glenville State (8-7) jumped out to a 10-0 lead thanks to a fall at 125 and a major decision at 133. 

At 141, Ryan Martin returned to his alma mater at Parkersburg South picked up the lone win for Fairmont State (7-12). The freshman wrestler won by a fall (2:40) over Kolbie Hamilton.

The Pioneers regained control of the match and went on to win the remaining seven bouts for the win.

Fairmont State will hit the road to face Garrett College in McHenry, Maryland on Thursday, January 18. Start time is set for 7:00 p.m.
