DANIELS, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State University women's golf team completed the second round of the MEC Championship at The Resort at Glade Springs. The Falcons still hold third-place going to the final round with a score of 740.
Marra Johnson led the way for Fairmont State with a round of 82 (+10) as she climbed three spots to 10th.
Emerson Simons carded a round of 88 (+16) as she sits in 13th.
Gianna Koski (21st),
Kaily Banal (23rd) and
Lanae Street (27th) all moved up the leaderboard.
Charleston leads the tournament with a score of 627. Glenville State is second with a total of 654.
The championship continues Wednesday with the final round of the 54-hole event on the par-72 Glade Springs course.
