BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — The Mountain East Conference announced Monday the winners of this week's Wrestler of the Week awards. The weekly awards are presented by The Health Plan.

Fairmont State's Josh Woyan shared the MEC Wrestler of the Week honors.

Woyan, who is from Point Pleasant, West Virginia, won both of his matches over the weekend — against Salem and Gannon. He defeated Salem's Dylan Knight by technical fall, 19-4, and then beat No. 5 Gannon's Dillon Walker in overtime, 4-1. In last week's NWCA rankings, Walker was ranked No. 7 in the 174-pound weight class.
