FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the organization's 2025-26 Academic All-America® At-Large Teams. Fairmont State's Colton Stoneking was recognized for his academic and athletic accomplishments.

Stoneking earned First Team Academic All-America honors after a successful school year finishing with a 4.0 GPA while majoring in Psychology. This is not the first time Stoneking's name has been mentioned in the CSC Academic awards. He is a two-time Academic All-District honoree with other classroom honors in the MEC, and D2 ADA Achievement award wins.

Stoneking's outstanding wrestling season also contributed to the accolade. Recently, he was named the MEC Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year while also earning two of Fairmont State's highest honors, the 2025-26 Jasper H. Colebank and Eston K. Feaster Awards. His season consisted of an MEC Championship win in the 141-pound weight class, earning him the MEC Most Outstanding Wrestler award, and making it to the quarterfinals in the NCAA Division II Championships.
