BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – The Mountain East Conference announced Monday the winner of this week's Wrestler of the Week. The weekly awards are presented by The Health Plan.

Colton Stoneking shared the title of MEC Wrestler of the Week. This is Stoneking's second weekly award of the season.
Stoneking, a senior from Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, claimed second at the 46th Annual Midwest Classic by going 5-1. He started his day against Tanner Arjes from Upper Iowa and picked up a 17-2 technical fall. In the second round, Stoneking defeated Koltyn Grebel by a 9-2 decision and in his final match of the first day, Stoneking battled Collin Twigg from Grand Valley State. Despite trailing since the middle of the second period, Stoneking pulled off an escape before a takedown in the final 15 seconds to earn a 5-4 victory to advance to the quarterfinals.
On day two against Caleb Chaves from Chadron State defeated him in overtime for the 4-1 decision. In the semifinals, Stoneking defeated Emmett Nelson from Wisconsin-Parkside earneing a 2-0 decision with points from escape and riding time. Then in the championship match, Stoneking fell to Ethan Hardy from Glenville State, 5-4.
