FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- The Fairmont State University softball team has moved up its home opener to Friday, February 28.

The Falcons have added a doubleheader to their schedule on Friday, February 28 against Pace University. Game one will start at 12:00 p.m. with game two shortly following.

Fairmont State is coming off a 2-2 weekend in North Carolina where Caitlin Morey was named MEC Pitcher of the Week for her performance in the circle.

As for Pace University, it is their first games of the 2025 season. The Setters are coming off a 33-16 season in 2024 where they made it the NCAA Division II East Regional.
