BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. - The Mountain East Conference announced Monday the winners of this week's Women's Basketball Player of the Week awards. The MEC Player of the Week awards are presented by The Health Plan.

Fairmont State's Gabby Reep has been named the MEC Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Reep, a junior guard from Bridgeport, West Virginia, helped the Falcons go 2-0 this week with wins over Davis & Elkins and Frostburg State. She averaged 20.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 3.0 apg, and 6.0 spg. In the 82-61 win over Davis & Elkins she scored 16 points to go along with five rebounds, two assists, and six steals. She followed that up with 25 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and another six steals in the 78-71 win over Frostburg State.
