Kathy Hosaflook (Basketball, Field Hockey, 1964-69)
* Was a standout on the basketball and field hockey teams at Fairmont State from 1964-69 during the early years of women's collegiate sports
* Named the Most Valuable Player of the basketball team in 1969
* Also played ASA softball during the summer months
* Selected to participate as a member of the Midwest Field Hockey Association Team in Pittsburgh, earning a preliminary tryout for the Pan Am Games
* Served as Vice President of the Fairmont State student body in 1969
* Became a Physical Education instructor at Marshall University from 1971-73, and coached basketball, volleyball and track & field in Wetzel, Logan and Cabell Counties in West Virginia
* Most recently she served as Athletic Director of Secondary Schools in Cabell County from 1997 to 2005
