Mike Currence (Football, Basketball, Track, 1957-61)
* Four-year letterwinner in football (1957-60)
* Was a member of three WVIAC Championship teams (1957, 1959, 1960)
* Earned All-Conference honors as an end in 1960
* Also lettered as a member of the FSC basketball and track teams
* Moved on to become a successful football coach and athletic director following playing career
* Won five state titles as a football coach in Ohio
* Named Ohio Football Coach of the Year in 1975 at St. Edwards
* Has the second-best record in Massillon football history at 79-16-1, behind Paul Brown
* Earned the FSAA Letterwinner of Distinction Award in 2004
