Randy Toth was a four-year starter and three-time first team All-WVIAC selection as a center fielder for the Fairmont State baseball team from 1985-1988. He earned All-WVIAC accolades following his final three years with the program in 1986, 1987 and 1988.

For his career, Toth batted .390 with 26 home runs, 137 RBIs and 117 runs scored. Toth batted a career-best .419 as a sophomore in 1986, batted .400 with 10 home runs in 1987 and batted .375 with nine home runs as a senior in 1988.
